This Privacy Policy applies to stardewvalleysaveeditor.wiki and the browser-based Stardew Valley save editor. By using the site, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Save file processing
For the normal editor workflow, your selected save file is read and processed in your browser. The tool parses the file, applies your changes in memory and creates a downloadable result. The site does not require you to upload the save to a server to use the editor.
Temporary backups may be stored in browser IndexedDB on your device when the browser supports it. Clear browser storage if you want to remove those local copies, and keep a separate manual backup for important farms.
2. Information we may collect
- Technical logs such as IP address, browser type, device information, timestamps and error events.
- Analytics events such as page views, referral source, approximate region and interaction timing.
- Support messages and contact details that you voluntarily send by email.
- Cookies or similar identifiers needed for site operation, measurement, security or advertising.
Do not include personal information or an irreplaceable save file in a public bug report.
3. Cookies, advertising and Google services
The site may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and similar identifiers for analytics, security and advertising. Third-party vendors, including Google, may place or read cookies on your browser and may use web beacons or IP addresses when advertisements are served.
Google's use of data from sites and apps that use its services is described at Google's partner-site data policy. You can manage cookies through browser settings and available advertising controls.
4. How information is used
- Operate and secure the website.
- Measure page performance and improve the editor workflow.
- Diagnose browser, download and compatibility errors.
- Respond to support requests and abuse reports.
- Serve and measure advertising where enabled.
5. Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information. Limited data may be processed by hosting, analytics, security, email or advertising providers when necessary to operate the site, measure usage, prevent abuse or serve ads. We retain logs and support messages only as long as reasonably needed for those purposes, security and legal obligations.
6. Your choices and rights
You can control cookies through your browser settings, clear local browser storage and choose not to send support information. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain personal information. Contact [email protected] for a request.
7. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when the editor, hosting, analytics, advertising or support workflow changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
